Our Physio Treatment Methods

Our physiotherapy practitioners provide a hands-on approach to provide assessment, physio treatment, exercise prescriptions and education into your treatment plan.

We provide a wide range of physio treatments which include:

Manual Therapy and Hands-On Treatment

This treatment is done specifically by the physiotherapist and may include passive range of motion, active assisted movement, joint mobilizations, soft tissue release, massage and passive stretching techniques.

Functional Dry Needling and Intra-Muscular Stimulation (IMS)

This treatment is done by our therapists that are certified in dry needling. Dry needling involves putting a fine acupuncture needle into a band of tight band of muscle or a trigger point to help reduce pain and improve healing.

Electrotherapy and Therapeutic Modalities

This treatment helps to relax the muscles and reduce the swelling caused by injury. This can include the application of moist heat packs, transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TENS), interferential current (IFC), neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) and ultrasound.

Exercise Therapy, Programs and Prescription

Our physiotherapists provide home exercise programs tailored specific to your injury. This may include mobility, stretching and strengthening exercises. We can also provide advice and ensure your gym program is beneficial for your specific injury or condition.

Our physiotherapists will provide you with education specific to your injury or condition in a language that is easy to understand. This may include: an overview of your injury, basic anatomy, healing timelines, pain education, injury prevention and what to expect during your recovery and treatment.

  • New Patient Visit (Approx 45-60 minutes): $105
  • Follow-Up Appointment (Approx 30 minutes): $85
  • Re-Evaluation Physiotherapy visit (Approx 60 minutes): $95
  • Approved ICBC and WorkSafe BC Claims: No Charge
